Daisy Duck, 5 years old, spayed, housetrained. Daisy is a Great Pyrenees/ACD mix, and was brought to the shelter because she has been “herding” and nipping the toddler. She is not ready to trust us, but there’s no way we can let her sit in her kennel run day after day without interaction. We are using non-invasive methods of leashing her so that she can get out and go for a walk and potty. Progress with her is slow but steady. She is lovely, and would probably appreciate a home with a fenced yard so that she can run and sniff without the confinement of a leash. She has very sensitive skin and does not handle strangers touching her yet. she will probably be a challenge for an adopter, so we hope someone is up to the challenge!
