Kyra’s spirit and personality shine through as gentle and sweet. In her foster home, she is playful with the younger larger dog, but when she gets tired of playing with him, she appropriately lets him know she’s had enough so she can take a break. She has raised puppies and is now spayed so she will never have to go through that again. Kyra is a smart cookie, always eager to learn new tricks and commands. She's friendly, too, making friends with both humans and other animals with ease. Kyra is energetic and loves to be active, whether it's playing fetch in the park or going for a jog with her human. Her zest for life is contagious and she'll make every day brighter with her presence. Adopt Kyra and gain not just a pet, but a loyal friend who will bring joy, laughter, and love into your life. she was heartworm positive when we took her in and is already been treated through the slow kill method of heartworm treatment, a non-invasive, non-painful method of reading her body of Heartworms while still allowing her freedom of activity. She is housetrained, and loves to ride! in her foster home, she is exposed to multiple cats as well as other dogs, and shares the home with a two-year-old toddler as well. She adores the baby, and it is a mutual attraction. Kyra does not care if there are men or women in the household as well, because she loves everyone.
