Doesn't Daisy look regal in her green and red garb for the holidays? She is hoping she can celebrate in style this year with a new family. Daisy's comfortable family life was torn apart recently when her human dad passed away very unexpectedly. Daisy and her two buddies had nowhere to turn for a new home, so we are caring for her now. Daisy is comforted by little Hector, the Boston terrier/chi mix, but they have both told us that they don't mind going to separate homes--they just want to have a warm living room and humans to love them again. Daisy had her nails trimmed recently because she was having a difficult time walking around outside. She has lost weight, too! She moves much more easily than she did when she first came to us. And, she has a very special new friend! Kim, a volunteer, spent two hours raking out Daisy's old coat so that her shiny fall coat could breathe a little. While Daisy may not be perfectly content at the AC facility, she is definitely happier now that her basic needs are being met and she doesn't have to worry about someone taking care of her. She is happy for now.
Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
