Collie / Hound / Mixed (medium coat) : : Female : : Baby : : Large
Bee is the only female in the litter of seven puppies. She has an adoptive family waiting patiently for her second mange treatment so they can then take her home!
Macy's puppies are making wonderful progress as they are going through treatment for a mutant form of sarcoptic mange. They looked pretty rough and scratchy when we took them in the first week of January, but now their coats are growing back and they are getting slick and shiny. They absolutely adore attention and being held and snuggled, and their foster mom didn't hesitate to love on them despite the mange. (My own personal study has shown that every puppy in the litter--no matter how many there are--needs to be held and cuddled at least three times a day while in foster care!) Toys are their delight and testing new surfaces and new textures is also quite enticing to them.
To adopt, please contact us by email. These puppies are not at the Campbell County Facility, and the ACO's will not be familiar with them.
Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
