About Daisy Dai: Transferred

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Fawn
  • Housetrained: Yes
Our most wonderful dog resident Daisy Dai is in grave danger simply because she has been in the care of the county facility for over a month now. The danger to her is that she will begin deteriorating and that no matter how many volunteers there are who take her out walking, she will not be able to handle the stress of confinement to the small kennel run, or the continual barking and emotion of the environment. I wish we could give every dog who comes in the pound the time and attention that are needed to help them make the adjustment from scared stray to loving, gentle, family dog like we did with Daisy Dai! She has transformed from frightened and unsocialed to a dog who looks forward to massages, belly rubs, brushing, and visitors. From a dog who didn't like human touch to a dog who adores her volunteer buddies and gives wonderful tiny kisses at the end of her walks, Daisy Dai is not the same dog who came to us. Her ideal home will be free from other dogs, and be either a large farm type environment or a fenced yard. Daisy Dai is a dog who would more than likely prefer being outside, on the porch or covered deck, rather than in the house. She most likely is already spayed and while some folks guess her age to be a senior, I am holding out that she is only four to six years old, as her teeth look pretty good when she smiles at us. She is so deeply appreciative of all that is done for her! Please consider Daisy Dai . .. she needs you!
