This little pup is so happy! He has every reason to be walking on air in his awesome foster home, because he knows that he has been saved from certain death on a rural roadside, where he was found emaciated and barely alive! Enter the good citizen who saw him, picked him up, and took him under his wing for care. LIttle "dog Spirit" has already gained a couple of pounds since he was found, and it looks like he may keep right on putting on the weight, since he does appear to be a shepherd or mix. We anticipate his weight as an adult to be around 65 pounds, but will not know til it actually happens, of course. He is doing fine in his foster home, eating well, and associating with other dogs. He will be vaccinated this week.
