Dallas came in as a stray with his friend, Janus, to the Campbell County Animal Control Facility on Tuesday from the middle of highway 29 near Marysville Road. He is a handsome Collie mix who is neutered, very healthy, and appears to have been an indoor dog. He is very friendly and a joy to walk on a leash. If not reclaimed, he will be available for adoption soon. Dogs and puppies who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.
