Bandit  has made great progress with his transitioning from a family pet with unknown socialization background, to a rescue pup who handle living in the shelter for a short time and is now in foster care. We are getting to know him better while he is there, and hope his submissiveness and timidity will soon be a part of his past. He is very comfortable with other dogs, and while he was exposed to livestock at his first home, we don’t know how he would do living in close quarters. We were told he would probably chase cats, although he probably wouldn’t hurt them. Although German shepherds do have prey drive, many can live comfortably with cats. One of Bandit’s favorite activities is chasing tennis balls! He lives for those tennis balls. We look forward to getting to know him better.
