When you can no longer manage their care, where will your senior dogs end up? Zeus, nine years old, and his sister Xena, neutered/spayed and current with vaccines, ended up at the County Shelter. They are sharing a run for company, but it is not wonderful for them. The dogs are used to air-conditioned comfort, soft beds, and lots of attention during the day. What they are getting is not what they are accustomed to. While young dogs adapt easily, seniors have a tough time. The brother sister duo or boxer/American bulldog mix. They are beautifully housetrained, and have been fine with other dogs at the shelter. Is your heart big enough for two of these? Please help us get them out as quickly as possible.
