UPDATE: Buis has been with us for quite a while. He does not ever give us any trouble, is easy to walk, keeps his kennel clean, and is non-demanding. His best personality trait is his laidback demeanor. We don’t mind taking him out for long walks, because he appreciates everything we do for him. We would love to find a home so he does not have to be in the shelter forever. He was brought to us originally when he had been attacked by another dog in the household. He does not hold any grudges however and is open to meeting other dogs at the shelter. He is 60 pounds, a nice size and easy to walk. You may take him home with you for no adoption fee if you are an approved adopter, because we want him to find a home very soon! Handsome, easy to walk, and wonderful with other dogs! Buis was signed over by his family for reasons we do not know. He is gentle and quiet, and looks forward to spending time with volunteers. He does not seem to prefer men over women, but enjoys the company of both. We don’t know if he has been exposed to children or cats. He is housetrained!

We learned he's a hambone when he gets attention from people. Such a fun guy who also thinks he's a lap dog.
