"Sweet and soft, and loves to be cuddled,"  is the description about Dallas from his foster mom! Dallas is one of six puppies in the litter who were signed over to our Animal Control facility on Saturday. The puppies were lucky enough to have stayed with their mom and siblings for 9 weeks, which is ideal for socializing and for learning good doggy skills from other adult dogs.  Their foster mom tells us they are eating well, and sleep through the night already! Not all puppies will do that, and life is much easier when an adopter can start off with a good basis for housetraining. We require adopted puppies be kept in the house, not tied out or in an outside pen. Because of the size (still pretty small!) we will consider homes with children over the age of five years.  Please note that you will need to reside in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell,  to adopt, so that we can follow up on spay/neuter by the age of six months.

This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at FOACinfo@gmail.com. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Please note that we do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice, and we do not adopt unaltered pets outside our local area of Campbell County or counties touching Campbell.
