We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Caraway is one of eight precious babies who arrived with their mom a month ago, and have been in a foster home getting love and attention all this time. We keep our puppies with their mom until they are nine weeks old so mom can teach them acceptable social skills with other dogs. Their coping skills and adaptability to new situations grow the longer they stay with mom and the litter. These little ones are so well-adjusted now!  Adoption fee of $250 includes the spay or neuter and a microchip at the age of six months.

Successful adopters will live locally in Lynchburg City or Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County. Alternatively, if you live outside our local area, have a vet reference whom we can contact to verify that your pets have all been spayed/neutered and current with heartworm testing and rabies vaccines, we would consider your application as a "foster to adopt" conditional adoption.  Please start the adoption process with an application, found here: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
